Shadow Catfish, scientifically known as Hyalobagrus flavus, are a species of small, peaceful, schooling catfish native to Indonesia. They are found in the acidic, blackwater streams of Borneo and Sumatra, often living in large shoals under floating vegetation. They are popular in aquariums due to their hardiness, peaceful nature, and small size, making them suitable for community tanks.
