The Indian Ricefish, scientifically known as Oryzias dancena, is  a small, freshwater and brackish fish native to India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and possibly Malaysia.

 They are known for their hardiness, adaptability, and peaceful nature, making them suitable for nano and planted aquariums.
