The Diamond Tetra (Moenkhausia pittieri) is a popular, peaceful, and relatively large tetra known for its shimmering, silver scales. They are schooling fish, meaning they prefer to be kept in groups of at least six. Diamond Tetras are easy to care for and make good community tank mates, especially with other peaceful species.
