Banjo catfishes, belonging to the family Aspredinidae, are small, peaceful, and popular aquarium fish known for their distinctive banjo-shaped body and cryptic coloration. They are typically bottom-dwellers, prefer dim lighting, and are readily available in the aquarium trade.
