The Whitebarred Catfish, also known as the Spotted Raphael Catfish or Spotted Talking Catfish (Agamyxis pectinifrons), is a popular aquarium fish native to the Amazon River Basin. These hardy and attractive catfish are well-suited for both beginner and experienced aquarists. They are known for their distinctive white or pale yellow markings and are often sold under the same trade names as their similar-looking congener, A. albomaculatus.
