Thunderbolt crayfish (Cherax pulcher), also known as Thunderbolt Blue Moon Crayfish, are a popular addition to freshwater aquariums, praised for their vibrant colors, manageable care, and interesting behaviors. They are a hybrid species bred by Aquatic Arts and are known for their beautiful blue, pink, purple, and emerald hues. While they are less aggressive than some other crayfish, they are still opportunistic feeders and may eat smaller tankmates, so careful consideration of tankmates is important.
