Driftwood can leach tannins which can cause a slight yellow or brown tint to your water. This is natural and the effects will reduce over time. Boiling or soaking the wood prior to use can decrease the tannins leaching. Great for a black water aquarium.

Sabawood is dense and generally does not float upon initial use, but may need some time to become waterlogged.
