Redfinned hillstream loaches, scientifically known as Gastromyzon sp., are freshwater fish native to fast-flowing streams in Southeast Asia. They are prized for their striking appearance, specifically the vibrant red tail and mottled patterns, and their ability to cling to surfaces using suction-cup-like mouths. These loaches are peaceful and social, thriving in well-oxygenated, cool water with strong flow. They also graze on algae and biofilm, making them a great addition to mature, well-established aquariums.
