Parkinson’s Rainbowfish ( Melanotaenia parkinsoni) are a vibrant species of freshwater fish known for their striking orange and yellow coloration, particularly in mature males. They are native to small tributaries in the Kemp Welsh River region and the vicinity of Alotau in Papua New Guinea. These fish are relatively large, reaching up to 15 cm (5.9 inches) in length and require a large aquarium with ample space for swimming and heavily planted areas.
