The Licorice Gourami, scientifically named Parosphromenus anjunganensis, is a small, brightly colored freshwater fish native to Kalimantan Barat, Borneo. Often called the “Angel Licorice Gourami”, it’s known for its unique red-finned appearance and its light brown body with two darker brown horizontal stripes. These fish typically reach just under 1.5 inches (4 cm) in length.
