Kissing Gouramis, scientifically known as Helostoma temminckii, are freshwater fish known for their unique “kissing” behavior, which involves using their lips to rasp algae from surfaces. They are relatively easy to care for and can be kept in a community aquarium, though males may engage in aggressive behavior towards each other.
