The Golden Pencilfish, scientifically known as Nannostomus beckfordi, is a small, vibrant and peaceful fish species native to the Amazon River Basin in South Ameerica. These characins are often kept in community tanks and are known for their easy care, unique behavior, and relatively long lifespan.
