The Banded Green Leporinus (Leporinus affinis), also known as the Black-banded Leporinus, is a herbivorous fish native to South America. They are typically kept in large, spacious aquariums with similar-sized, peaceful tank mates. While generally peaceful, they can be fin-nippers and should not be kept with smaller, delicate fish. They are also known to be accomplished jumpers.
