Peacock Gobies are a tropical freshwater species of fish in the family Eleotridae that is endemic to the eastern part of Papua New Guinea. It can be found in schools hovering over the substrate in rivers and ponds.
Bumblebee gobies are found across Southern and Southeast Asia primarily in freshwater habitats but also in slightly brackish waters.
Being small peaceful fish with bright coloration, they remain a popular choice with Aquarists. Due to their tendancy of having territorial behaviour it is recommended for a group of 8 or more to be together.
