Livestock and live plants are not exchangeable or returnable.

1 x weekly water change of 30 percent and 1-2 x daily feeding. A high stocking density contributes to better feed intake and well-being of our fish.

Food: Our fish are adjusted to many types of food.  Many of our favorites (see our store for individual pricing) include:

Angelfish: Tropical Flake, Bug Bites, Vibrabites

Plecos: Bug Bites, Algae Wafer,  Kelp wafers, Veggie Bites

All other fish: Tropical Flake, Bug Bites, Vibrabites

Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrites: 0 ppm
Nitrates: 30 ppm (or less)
pH: 6.8 to 7.8 (fish are suited to Calgary, Airdrie and Balzac water)

Temperature: Fahrenheit: 78-82 degrees,  Celsius: 25-28 degrees 

Currently we can ship all product by Canada Post.  We are looking at alternative shipping methods.

Livestock is shipped by Air Canada to any city outside of Alberta.  Edmonton, Red Deer and all areas between will have a coordinated delivery on a scheduled day.

FISH: (WHEN AVAILABLE)

Please DO NOT OPEN THE BOX or any of the bags until your fish are next to their new home (your fish tank).
All Fish are guaranteed to arrive alive, if you receive fish DOA please take a picture of the fish in the bag and email us at   in**@am***************.ca  within 1 hour of delivery.

A refund will be issued for the purchase price of the Fish.

Live shipments must be received immediately upon delivery by courier. If you are not home to receive your shipment on its first delivery attempt, this guarantee is void.

Failure to report damage at the time of delivery, voids this guarantee.

Even if an animal appears deceased, you must attempt to acclimate it.

Stress caused by shipping can often cause the Fish to appear to be lifeless in their bags, but they may be revived by proper acclimation techniques.

Your tank must be established minimum 2 weeks with benificial bactria and in good condition. Your water quality should meet the following standards:

Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrites: 0 ppm
Nitrates: 30 ppm (or less)
pH: 6.8 to 7.8 

Temperature: Fahrenheit: 78-82 degrees,  Celsius: 25-28 degrees

We recommend quarantining all newly purchased Fish in a separate tank before introducing them to the population of your established aquarium.

If you wish to have your item(s) shipped to an address other than your billing address, please be aware that your order may require additional verification and may be subject to processing delays. We recommend allowing extra time for order fulfillment when shipping to an alternate address. If you have any questions about your order verification please feel free to contact our customer service department. 

We guarantee a live arrival of livestock with a 1 day shipping only.  In case of dead on arrival (DOA) please send as a photo of the deceased fish within 6 hours of receiving. We will send you a refund for the DOAs. However, if the shipment gets delayed by the courier and it doesn’t arrive on time,  the guarantee of the live arrival is waived and no refunds will be issued.

From October to April, plants have to be shipped overnight or we can not guarantee that they won’t get damaged by frost during transport.
